Being a New Orleans wedding photographer is about more than just taking pictures – it's about preserving memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Recently, I had the honor of documenting a wedding day that was filled with love, laughter, and all the emotions that make these moments truly special.
The day began at the Omni Royal Hotel, where the bride's anticipation and excitement filled the air. As she got ready for the big moment, I was there to capture every detail – from the intricate lace of her dress to the sparkle in her eyes. The couple exchanged heartfelt letters, a beautiful prelude to the day's events.
Then, it was off to Rosy's Jazz Hall for the wedding ceremony and reception. The ceremony took place in a breathtaking room bathed in natural light from a giant window. The warm glow illuminated the couple as they exchanged vows, surrounded by their loved ones. Emotions flowed freely, and happy tears were in abundance, making it a truly touching ceremony.
After the "I dos," I quickly snapped some portraits of the newlyweds, capturing their radiant happiness. The celebration continued with the first dances and a lively reception. Amidst the joy and laughter, there was also a heartfelt moment of cake cutting and touching speeches / toasts. When it was the couples turn, the bride and groom tossed lottery tickets to everyone as a wedding favor, spreading good luck and happiness. And then, the DJ took over with a playlist of techno and house music that the couple had requested, turning the end of the night into a bumping rave.
