A few weeks back an old friend contacted me asking me to photograph his proposal. He and his (now) fiancé always wanted a Simon painting. So he went to Simon beforehand and had a custom piece done with out his girlfriend knowing. The plan was to take his girlfreind to Simon's gallery look at pieces and when they came across the piece that says will you marry me he would drop to his knee and propose. His plan worked beautifully. After she said yes. I walked up and congratulated them and Simon brought over some Mimosas. I then got a couple posed shots of them around the gallery.
