The Ponchartrain Hotel & The Napoleon House

We started the day at the Pontchartrain Hotel. I was there to catch all the preceremony vibes. The Suite is an amazing spot that's perfect for wedding pics. Tons of space and natural light, just what a photographer dreams about. After I got photos of the bride getting ready we head to the roof for the first look. Then back down to the suit for a toast with the wedding party.

The Napoleon House, this big piece of history and culture, set the stage for their ceremony. The ceremony was held upstairs and not in the courtyard. The second floor of the napoleon house is the perfect event space for wedding photography in New Orleans in the day natural light flows in through its windows and at night the ceilings are perfect for bounce flash.

As the sun began its descent, we ventured out in the quarter to capture portraits bathed in the golden hues of the sunset. It was very hot outside so we quickly went to a few spots that I had picked out for some quick portraits.

Our journey came full circle back at the Napoleon House for the reception. The second floor, once again, was alive with joy as family and friends celebrated. It was a perfect New Orleans wedding.
